The law firm is under the supervision of both the Danish and the Swedish Bar and Law Society and thus subject to the ethical rules of both societies. Furthermore, we are statutory insured in both countries.
When advising foreign clients, the Code of Conduct for European Lawyers is complied with.

In case of bankruptcy of the Bank, depositors will receive cover under the Danish Guarantee Fund for Depositors and Investors Act. The guarantee form covers the eligible insurer's funds up to an amount equal to 100,000 euros (approximately 750,000 DKK). The coverage ceiling applies to the clients total deposit in the bank, even though the money is on different accounts, including on both client bank accounts and own accounts.
There are special rules for deposits relating to real estate provided such property has been used for or intended for mainly non-commercial purposes. If so amounts are covered up to Euro 10 million until 12 months after the amount was deposited and regardless of whether the deposit is on a separate account. The lawyers at EU-Legal are appointed by the Ministry of Justice in Denmark and are part of both the Danish and Swedish Bar and Law Society. Furthermore, we are registered in the Swedish Bar and Law Society and is under the supervision of the Bar and Law society of both countries.
All lawyers at EU-Legal are covered by the company's liability insurance and guarantee scheme signed by Tryg in Denmark and by the Swedish Bar and Law society mandatory insurance in Sweden. The liability insurance covers all legal advice rendered by EU-Legal, regardless of where such advice is rendered.
EU-Legal do not use clauses on law and / or jurisdiction unless agreed with the client. All business activities are subject to the supervisory and disciplinary system of the Danish and Swedish Bar and Law Society and the doctrine of good lawyer practice, cf. section 126 of the Danish Code of Civil Procedure.
